Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice made a passionate plea to Florida State football players to learn from the mistakes of his past.

Rice hasn’t played in the NFL after he struck his wife, whom he wasn’t married to at the time, in an elevator in 2014. (RELATED: New Footage Showing Ray Rice Punching Fiancée Surfaces)

However, he is now doing his best to teach younger players to not follow in his footsteps.

“I made the worst decision of my life, and the reality of it is I’m not playing football right now not because I’m not good enough, because I made the worst decision of my life. So you’ve all got to understand it all comes down to decision making,” the former Ravens player told the FSU players listening.

Rice is unlikely to play in the NFL ever again, and has even admitted his odds of making a roster in the future look bleak.
