Superstar boxer Manny Pacquiao said he will not change his stance on being against gay marriage.

“Yes, but I’m not changing my position from what the Bible says, but my mistake was comparing them to animals. Nobody is perfect,” the Philippine-born boxer told TMZ Sports when asked if he regretted comparing gays to animals. (VIDEO: Guess Which Congressman Just Said Gays Are ‘Worse Than Animals’)

Pacquaio is also an elected senator in the Philippines, and his anti-gay stance is extremely popular in the country.

His next fight is November 5 against Jessie Vargas.
