“Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL) is propelling efforts to defeat Patrick Murphy for U.S. Senate with relentless door-to-door canvassing and phone banking. Tomorrow mid-day we will be announcing a new website, PayMorePatrickMurphy.com, exposing how Murphy’s failed agenda forces Floridians to ‘pay more,'” the official press release said.

The group criticizes “Murphy’s record of supporting Obamacare, corporate welfare, and Washington energy mandates are driving up the cost of living while enriching a few special interests.”

Murphy’s “agenda means Florida families could pay more for electricity while risking thousands of jobs, he’s sending our tax dollars to foreign corporations in countries like China and Russia, and he wants to double-down on Obamacare by establishing a public option that would guarantee the complete dismantling of our healthcare system.”

AFP has 14 offices statewide, with over 100 paid staff, and over 200,000 volunteers. The revamped campaign follows last week’s push that resulted in 500,000 voter contacts by phone, and over 12,000 contacts at doors across the state. The Florida effort is the most ambitious yet for the group, and expands on a heavy investment in the state against Medicare expansion that began in 2012.

“We’re confident this new website will help more people see the facts about Murphy as our activists carry the message to their door and phone,” the statement concluded.
