CNN’s Christiane Amanpour took time Monday to defend Hillary Clinton for hiding her alleged diagnosis of pneumonia and collapsing at a 9/11 memorial. Asking “Can’t a girl have a sick day or two?” Amanpour then listed presidents who’ve hidden their health issues from the public with the help of a complicit media.
“Imagine a world where you can’t slow down, can’t rest, and you absolutely can’t get sick,” Amanpour said.
“Don’t get me started, because when it comes to overqualified women having to try 100 times harder than under qualified men to get a break, or even a level playing field. Well, we know that story,” she continued.
