A Hillary Clinton campaign event proved embarrassing for the Democratic presidential candidate on Friday when the audience erupted into a chant calling for President Obama to remain in the White House for another term.

“Four more years!” a crowd at Virginia’s George Mason University shouted during Michelle Obama’s introduction for Clinton.

The first lady had reminded the audience that her husband’s term is nearing its end.

“It is so hard to believe that it is less than two months to election day,” she said, “and that my family is almost at the end of our time at the White House. It’s almost time.”

That’s when the audience erupted with the “Four more years” chant.

“No, no,” said Obama during her appearance, her first for Clinton on the campaign trail.

“Let me say this. You have me and Barack working on your behalf for the rest of our lives, so no need to worry. We’re going to be here.”
