Donald Trump said if he had known he was going to run for president, he would never “have done” “Howard Stern’s Show.”

In an interview with Dr. Mehmet Oz on the “Dr. Oz Show” Thursday, the Republican presidential nominee talked about how “Howard Stern” was a friend of his but had he known “he was going to be a politician he wouldn’t have done his show” or at least his answers would have been “very boring.” (RELATED: Crowd EXPLODES When Dr. Oz Says Trump’s Testosterone Levels Are ‘Good’ [VIDEO])

“So we’ll talk about women, we’ll talk about men, we’ll talk about everything, and we’re all having a good time,” he added. “If I ever thought I was running for president, I wouldn’t have done the show or I would have given him very boring answers. But we’re all having fun together.”

Dr. Oz also pressed the nominee on the perception that he said exists that Trump “views” women negatively based on things he has said in the past. Trump responded that it was a “narrative” created by “hundreds of millions of dollars spent” on advertising, “false advertising in many cases.”

“I have such respect for women,” he said. “My mother was one of the great people I’ve ever known in my life.”

Trump’s daughter Ivanka was on set and defended her father.

“I do think there’s a bit of a false narrative on this out there,” Trump said. “My father speaks his mind, so whether it’s a man or a woman, if you attack him, he’ll attack you back.”
