Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren got blindsided Saturday at Ohio State University by a young man who seemed to want to get a selfie photo with the normally elusive Warren.

Warren was on the Ohio State campus with Democrat Ohio Senate candidate Ted Strickland campaigning for Hillary Clinton.

As the two get into the frame, he asks, “How does it feel like losing to Trump this year?”

Warren responded, “We’re not going to lose to Trump this year.”

“Oh really?” roared the young man, at which point Warren realized she had been duped.

“We’re gonna beat that guy!” Warren interjected as the student said to her, “But you lied about your ethnicity to get a scholarship.”

Warren pulled away from him and walked away.

Both Warren and Strickland gave remarks to attendees at the campaign event imploring students and staff to vote not just for Clinton but also help build a Democratic Senate, The Lantern reported.

“We went from a country that worked for all of us … to a country that just worked for those at the top,” Warren said. “The game is rigged, and it’s up to us to un-rig it (with this election).”
