Police are searching for a 28-year-old man from Afghanistan in connection with the New York City bombing.

Ahmad Kan Rahami is a naturalized U.S. citizen residing in Elizabeth, New Jersey, reports CNN. Authorities are asking the public to help search for him, and released a photo of him Monday morning, saying he may be armed and dangerous.

It’s not clear whether he is the man seen on security footage toting a large bag between the sites of two bombs found by police in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, or whether he is believed to be a lone actor.

Law enforcement officials are also hunting a possible active terror cell in New York and New Jersey that may involve multiple actors in the tri-state area, NBC reported Monday morning. The mayor, however, cautioned authorities are not yet sure whether there are multiple actors involved in the attacks.

A pipe bomb sent a dumpster more than a hundred feet in Chelsea when it exploded Saturday night, injuring 29 people. Police found another bomb that did not detonate nearby. Earlier Saturday a pipe bomb exploded in a trashcan on the route of a scheduled 5K Marine Corps charity run in New Jersey, but did not injure anyone because the race was delayed.

Authorities also found five explosive devices inside a backpack in a trash can near a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey Sunday.
