The Special Victims Unit of the New York Police Department has launched an investigation into Anthony Weiner after a story published Wednesday revealed he was involved with an underage girl.

During an interview with the Daily Mail, a 15-year-old high school student and her father said that the disgraced former congressman had been messaging her for months — including sending her shirtless photos and asking her to dress up in school uniforms and partake in “rape fantasies.”
The girl’s father told the Daily Mail that Weiner knew his daughter was underage and the publication is now reporting that the NYPD is deciding whether to charge Weiner. (RELATED: Anthony Weiner Complained That He And Huma Abedin Rarely Had Sex)

“He had some rape fantasies,” the girl told the Daily Mail. “It would just be him showing up at my house when my dad was out of town. And just start undressing me, being forceful, asking me if I want to be dominated, strange questions.”
“I was scared. I felt bad for talking to [Weiner]. I felt a little guilty and I wrote [my dad] a letter telling him.”
“After seeing what he did with his son having him in the picture that was released, I think that he’s very disgusting and he needs help,” she added.

When reached for comment, Weiner did not deny the Daily Mail’s claims.
“I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgement about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent,” Weiner said.
“I am filled with regret and heartbroken for those I have hurt.”
