Donald Trump is reportedly adding the name of a conservative senator to his list of potential Supreme Court justice picks.

Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee is on a list of 10 potential nominees Trump will announce he will consider, according to NBC’s Chuck Todd. In May, Trump — trying to reassure skeptical conservatives — released the names of 11 potential picks. Include on that list was Thomas Lee, a Justice on the Utah Supreme Court whose brother is the Republican senator.

Trump’s addition of Mike Lee is intriguing: Lee, a closest friend in the Senate to Trump’s former rival Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, has not endorsed Trump yet.

On Friday, Lee’s spokesman suggested the senator isn’t interested.

“Sen Lee already has the job he wants which is why he is campaigning to represent the great people of Utah again this year,” Lee spokesman Conn Carroll told Politico.

Other names on the list reported by NBC: Neil Gorsuch, Margaret A. Ryan, Edward Mansfield, Keith Blackwell, Charles Canady, Timothy Tymkovich, Amul Thapar, Federico Moreno and Robert Young.

A Trump spokesman didn’t immediately return a request for confirmation on the names.
