The United Kingdom’s 3-year-old Prince George unceremoniously shut down Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s offer of a high five Saturday.

Trudeau knelt down before the toddler and proposed a high five, which was met with no reaction whatsoever by George. The Canadian leader offered a traditional handshake as well as a low five — these greetings were also rejected.

The U.K. royal celebrity traveled to Canada’s west coast with his parents, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, along with his little sister Princess Charlotte. George is on an eight-day visit to Canada.

Back in April, Prince George met President Barack Obama while wearing his pajamas and a bathrobe.

Canada still recognizes Britain’s ruling royal, Queen Elizabeth II, as its head of state. The trip to Canada marks the first-ever official trip for 16-month-old Charlotte as a member of the royal family.
