NBA Player Skips Military Event Because He’s Anti-War

New York Knicks center Joakim Noah skipped a dinner with cadets at West Point because of his anti-war views.

Knicks stars Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose and Kristaps Porzingis all attended the dinner Thursday night to show support for the military, but Noah was a no-show because of his pacifism, according to TMZ Sports(RELATED: Hookstead’s Hot Take: America Stood Up For Colin Kaepernick, He Should Stand For The Flag)

A representative for Noah also released a statement to TMZ Sports saying, “He has the utmost respect for the military members and cadets. He just doesn’t agree with war.”
