Maria Sharapova Gets Suspension Reduced

Tennis superstar Maria Sharapova has had her doping suspension reduced.

The Russian-born star’s two-year suspension has been reduced to only 15 months because the Court of Arbitration for Sport found “no significant fault” on Sharapova’s part, according to ESPN. (RELATED: Maria Sharapova Suspended For Two Years For Doping)

Sharapova released a statement on her Facebook page saying getting her suspension reduced is one of her “happiest days.” (SLIDESHOW: Maria Sharapova Might Be Suspended, But She’s Still A Gorgeous Blonde Bombshell)

Sharapova will be eligible to return in April of 2017.
