Police believe that Denver Broncs star Aqib Talib was shot by himself at a Dallas strip club in June.

WFAA reporter Rebecca Lopez tweeted, “Sources say Dallas PD has completed the Aqib Talib case. They’ve determined the Broncos cornerback was not shot by someone but shot himself.”

The Super Bowl champion was shot in the leg at Vlive club in what was initially believed to have been an accidental shooting done by somebody else. (RELATED: NFL Star Aqib Talib Shot At Strip Club)

Talib’s wounds weren’t bad enough to force him to miss playing time this season. It’s unclear at this time what punishment he might face from the NFL or the Dallas police.
