The U.S. representative pulled out the move made popular by Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton after the moderator attempted to get her to finish up her closing statement, New York magazine reports.

Her opponent, Attorney General Kamala Harris, couldn’t help but laugh at Sanchez’s gesture. “So there’s a clear difference between the candidates in this race,” Harris said, continuing to laugh.
Harris’ campaign spokesman jumped at the opportunity to attack the California congresswoman for her performance in the debate.

Sanchez and Harris are both Democrats running against one another for the first open California Senate seat in 24 years. We’ll see just how effective Sanchez’ dance moves were in due time.
