As far as camping gear goes, I definitely trust Coleman. After all, they have been doing this for 115 years. If I need a tent or a stove or a lantern or a cooler or anything else in that vein, I will most likely turn to Coleman first. They are the leader in the industry. Because of this pedigree, I am all in on the new Coleman endeavor – “Coleman Knives.” The company is good at everything else it makes, so why wouldn’t its knives be just as solid? With this new offering, Coleman aims to provide “traditional heritage knives for outdoor and everyday use, to new, innovative designs for more tactical use.” That sounds like just what I’m looking for.

One such Coleman knife, the Coleman fixed blade survival knife, is on sale for only $20. For that price, you also get a black nylon sheath and survival kit (match, sharpening stone, fishing hook and fishing thread).

All of this usually costs $40. Right now, it is available for $20 (Photo via Amazon)

Coleman Fixed Blade Survival Knife with Black Nylon Sheath and Survival Kit, 7.25-inch blade, 12-inch overall on sale for $19.99

The Strong Arm Fixed Blade boasts reliability in “military, hunting, survival, tactical, industrial and outdoor situations.” (Wow! That is a lot of situations!). The customers who have reviewed the product also love this Rambo knife. Honestly, if you told me I could get a quality stainless steel survival knife plus survival kit, made by a trusted company, for only $40, I would laugh at you. Yet here it is, on sale for $20! Sometimes the universe is kind. Like right now.
