Tic Tacs may have the same sweet, cool, mint taste.

But they may never be the same after the 2016 presidential election.

In the now infamous audio of Donald Trump from 2005, Trump shakes a container of the breath mints aboard a large bus and tells Access Hollywood‘s Bill Bush that he has to pop some because he may have to kiss the Days of Our Lives soap opera actress they’re about to meet. Trump, who, at the time was married to Melania for a few short months, said he can’t help himself. When he sees a beautiful woman he’s just naturally attracted and has to start kissing her.

He went on to say far worse. But let’s keep this post G-rated.

It’s safe to say no candy has ever been this embarrassed. Tic Tac even issued a short statement on Twitter.

“At long last, @TicTacUSA breaks its silence,” remarked The Daily Beast‘s Betsy Woodruff on Twitter.

Tic Tacs also emerged in a report by CNN’s Erin Burnett Friday night in which she said Trump kissed her friend without her consent.

Her friend, it turns out, was familiar with the Tic Tac shaking noise. “The Tic Tacs,” Burnett said regarding her friend. “That’s exactly what Trump did to me. Trump took Tic Tacs, suggested that I take them also. He then leaned in … catching me off guard and kissed me almost on the lips. I was really freaked out.”
