Geraldo Rivera apologized to Donald Trump for “piling on and adding fuel” to comments the Republican presidential candidate made back in 2005.
After the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape, Rivera was among a number of journalists who claimed to have further incriminating footage of Trump, reports The Huffington Post.
However, after going back through his archives, Rivera announced that the only “relevant” video he found was of an old feud between Trump and Rosie O’Donnell, an “old story.”
The only relevant #TrumpTapes we’ve located so far is one fairly vicious tirade vs @TheRosieShow during a 2016 interview at Trump Tower

Typo: 2006 interview not 2016

“I apologize to Donald Trump for piling on and adding fuel to [the] Trump Tapes scandal,” Rivera added in a third tweet. “You always treated me and mine with respect.”
