The costume company that was selling a “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim” Halloween costume for $69.99 has pulled the item from their website following the intense backlash it received on the Internet.

Costumeish was selling the “Robbery Victim” kit that was clearly designed to replicate Kim Kardashian’s armed robbery scare in Paris in which she was gagged, bound and held at gunpoint.

The costume kit included a “white short sexy robe,” a long black wig, fake gag, two feet of rope and a fake ring meant to look like the $4 million ring stolen in the heist. (RELATED: Kim Kardashian ‘Robbery Victim’ Halloween Costume Met With Backlash)

“This Halloween it’s all about the #Hallomeme and who better than America’s goddess of all things glamorous ‘Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume?'” the costume description read. “She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism. But all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry and her peace of mind. This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of Social media with our sensational ‘Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume’ Costume.”

Costumeish previously said they had “no intention of taking it down,” and claimed it had been selling well, according to Fox News. By Tuesday afternoon, Costumeish founder Johnathon Weeks decided the out-lash was so severe they had to pull the costume from the site.

Weeks claimed this is the first time the company has removed a costume from their online store, TMZ reports, although they’ve had “plenty of borderline tasteless options in the past.”
