Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is apparently a really generous tipper at restaurants.

Wentz visited Fargo, North Dakota with a group of friends and dined at Herd and Horns Bar and Grill. The large group drank a few cold beers, threw some darts and played pool, but the most impressive part was when Wentz left a $500 tip on a $1,000 tab, according to CSNPhilly.com.

I absolutely love everything about Wentz and this story is just more proof that he’s breaking the mold of what NFL players are like off of the field. In the era of social media, athletes are more desperate than ever to draw attention to themselves with flashy jewelry and cars. (RELATED: Carson Wentz Bags Big Buck During Bye Week [PHOTO])

However, Wentz is just a country kid from North Dakota who brings his lunchbox to work everyday and is focused on winning and not drawing attention to himself.

The idea of sitting in a small bar in North Dakota playing darts is a laughable prospect to the majority of NFL players, but most NFL players also aren’t stars. Wentz is shattering the mold and it’s one of the reason why he’s quickly becoming a fan favorite.
