Robby Mook, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, did not take kindly to New York City mayor Bill de Blasio praising Bernie Sanders last year.

“Wow. what a terrorist,” he wrote of de Blasio in a June 10, 2015 email to Jennifer Palmieri, the campaign’s communications director.

“Told you!” Palmieri responded.

The documents, which were released by Wikileaks on Thursday, were hacked from the Gmail account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

Mook and Palmieri were miffed at de Blasio’s remarks to a group of reporters in which he confirmed that he would not be attending a Clinton campaign kickoff event in New York City that week.

Asked if he could support Clinton at that time, the left-wing de Blasio said he could not because he was “waiting to hear…her larger vision to addressing income inequality.”

De Blasio finally endorsed Clinton in late-October, to little fanfare.

Other emails released from the hack show that de Blasio was providing behind-the-scenes information to Podesta about his endorsement.

In September, de Blasio told Podesta of Sanders: “My message to him (saying this in confidence to you) is that I will always want to work with him in the future and will never have a bad word about him, but won’t be supporting him in this campaign.”

The Daily Caller reached out to de Blasio’s office for comment on the Mook tweet but has not yet heard back.
