Who says Wolf Blitzer is an easy interview?
In an appearance Wednesday on CNN, Blitzer put Hillary Clinton‘s Campaign Chairman John Podesta‘s ass on blast and pointedly asked about calling Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) a “doofus.”

“Without confirming the accuracy of the email, he and I have a very good relations,” Podesta said with an amazingly straight face. “I have great affection with him.”
Podesta never said outright that he didn’t call Sanders a “doofus.” He explained that he disagreed with Sanders on the Paris climate change treaty.
In other words, Sanders is a doofus on that issue and is otherwise an all around great guy.
