Chairman of the Clinton campaign John Podesta and Clinton adviser Neena Tanden don’t have a very good opinion of longtime Democratic strategist and Media Matters founder David Brock, according to a WikiLeaks release Monday.

The first exchange occurred when a Clinton donor forwarded a Politico story that described why Brock stepped down from Clinton’s Political Action Committee in February of 2015.

“As Forrest Gump might say crazy is as crazy does,” Podesta responded.

“Apparently everyone is making nice nice now,” the donor responded, before planning a meeting with the Clinton adviser.

Clinton staffers were quick to poke fun of Brock’s house after the Republican hitman turned Democratic strategist invited the Clinton staff to a party after the White House Correspondents Dinner.

“I mean, can you get a load of this house?” Tanden wrote. Podesta didn’t comment on the email chain. Brock attacked a picture of his house on NW Cathedral Avenue in Washington, DC, with the words, “you are cordially invited to attend the after after party.”

This was hardly the first leaked email that showed Clinton insiders making fun of or questioning Brock. Tanden asked Podesta if Brock was a Republican plant after Brock called for Sen. Bernie Sanders to release his full medical history during the Democratic Primary.

Brock started his career working with Republicans, and made his name in a tell-all book about Anita Hill, titled, The Real Anita Hill. Then he publicly switched sides to work with President Bill Clinton, writing several books “exposing” how the right functions.
