Stephanie Ruhle was very impressed with the Clinton campaign’s leg work on Monday.
The MSNBC host had just cut to a segment with campaign correspondent Kasie Hunt, reporting from Coconut Creek, Fla.
“Kasie, let’s talk about not just Hillary on the campaign trail,” Ruhle stated. “She has got the heavy hitter surrogates out there.”
“They are going hard and deep,” she added with a grin on her face.
“She does have, uh, a real significant team of people who are behind her, Steph,” Hunt responded following an awkward pause. “It’s something, quite frankly, that Donald Trump just can’t match.”
“She’s had President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Michelle Obama,” Hunt continued. “She’s going to be campaigning with Michelle Obama later on this week, and yesterday she campaigned in New Hampshire with Elizabeth Warren.”
