“I’m a Republican but this election is so much bigger than party. My son Max can’t live in ‘Trump world,’ so I’m crossing party lines and voting for Hillary,” Jennifer Kohn said in a commercial paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign.
The commercial is part of a series of ads that highlight Republicans who have switched party lines to support Hillary. The Daily Caller has reached out to Kohn, a business professor at Drew University, and found out that she was a registered Democrat before 2012.
Kohn also told TheDC, ” I supported Kerry over Bush in 2004.”
FEC records show that she donated $250 to Kerry’s presidential campaign in 2004. There are no other FEC records available for another donation from Kohn to a presidential campaign.

Kohn did say that she supported Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain in 2008 and voted for Mitt Romney in 2012.
