Mariah Carey and her relationship with billionaire fiance James Packer appears to be at least on hold if not completely over.
The 46-year-old singer and her fiance have split up over issues surrounding her “extravagant spending” and her latest excursion into reality TV, Page Six reported Wednesday. (RELATED: Mariah Carey Wore Nothing But A Leather Jacket And Lingerie In Las Vegas)

“It’s all over,” a source close the family told Woman’s Day in Australia. “James had huge reservations about Mariah’s new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world. Another sign that things had possibly gone south was the singer’s recent cancellation of her South America tour.
“To all of my lambs in South America, I am devastated that a portion of this tour had to be cancelled. Thank you for all of the excitement and love – I hope to see you soon, my darlings,” Carey wrote in a statement to E! News. (RELATED: Mariah Carey Takes Scandalous Magazine Cover Photo [PHOTOS])

Another report says the spending wasn’t as big of an issue as the reality show she’s been getting ready to launch in December.
Carey has had cameras follow her relationship with Packer as part of her upcoming show “Mariah’s World” that will be featured on the E! channel.
Sources tell the outlet that what might have been the final straw in the relationship was when Carey was in Vegas and cameras caught “some type rendezvous” with one of her dancers in her Las Vegas show.
Others have noted that it was odd when the singer posted a picture last weekend on her Instagram account dressed up for a Halloween party with her ex-husband Nick Cannon and not her fiance.
The couple got engaged in Janaury after being together since June 2015.
