Erica Garner attacked Hillary Clinton on Twitter Thursday after it was revealed her campaign considered “using” the death of her father, Eric Garner, to push its policy platforms.
Garner died after being put in a choke hold by New York City police after allegedly resisting arrest while being cited for illegally selling cigarettes in 2014.
What really pisses me off is that the Clinton camp won’t just admit these emails belong to them… Fucking liars.

“These people will co opt anything to push their agenda,” Garner, who endorse Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary, wrote. “Police violence is not the same as gun violence.”
These people will co opt anything to push their agenda. Police violence is not the same as gun violence.

“I’m troubled by the revelation that you and this campaign actually discussed ‘using’ Eric Garner,” she continued. “Why would you want to ‘use’ my dad?”

The email exchange Garner referenced occured on March 17, 2016 and was centered on an op-ed from Clinton that would run in the New York Daily News.
At one point in the chain, press secretary Nick Merrill noted that he knows the campaign has “Erica Garner issues but we don’t want to mention Eric at all? I can see her coming after us for leaving him out of the piece.”
Policy advisor Maya Harris responded that “Eric Garner not included because not killed by gun violence.”
