Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s closest aide Huma Abedin has not flown on the campaign plane for three days, following news Friday the FBI is reopening its investigation after finding emails on Abedin’s estranged husband’s computer.

“Today is day number three that she is not on the campaign plane,” CNN’s Brooke Baldwin reported Monday, referring to Abedin who she calls a “surrogate daughter.”

The discovery of Abedin’s emails on her husband Anthony Weiner’s server prompted FBI Director James Comey to announce Friday the investigation into Clinton over her use of a private email server is back on. Weiner was under a separate investigation for allegedly sexting with a minor.

“We don’t know exactly why,” CNN correspondent Dana Bash told Baldwin. “Except I don’t think it would be a bridge too far to have informed speculation that she has now become such a huge part of the story.”

Bash also expounded on the nature of the close relationship between Clinton and Abedin. “I don’t think you can overstate how close these two are,” she said. “And second daughter is just one aspect of her official role as Hillary Clinton’s right hand woman. But it’s not just hand, it’s arm, it’s brain, it’s everything. I mean she is the person who thinks what Hillary Clinton is going to think before she thinks it and makes things happen for her. That’s how close they are.”
