The newest batch of hacked emails released by Wikileaks show Hillary Clinton aides expressing frustrations about her campaign in early 2016.

An email simply marked with the subject, “Re:” shows a conversation between Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta and Tom Nides, Morgan Stanley vice chairman and Clinton fundraiser.

Nides asks Podesta, “How goes it,” to which Podesta responds, “I’m down. Our team is all tactics and has no idea of how to lift her up.”

Nides answers with “This was bound to happen. We are lucky Sanders will not last. Assuming she losses [sic] both she bounces back with “fighter” Hillary. How many times have we seen this movie??”

The emails, from Jan. 22, were likely in reference to the upcoming primaries with Nides’ speculation about Clinton losing “both” meaning the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary.

Clinton later went on to narrowly win the Iowa contest, but lost by more than 20% in New Hampshire by Bernie Sanders.

The Wikileaks releases, coming at a daily stream, have been a revealing insight into how the Clinton campaign dealt with the Sanders campaign in the primary. One leaked email showed Podesta wanting to know where to “stick the knife in” and Podesta receiving the advice “Bernie needs to be ground to a pulp.”

Podesta also called Sanders a “doofus.” Another email released from Wikileaks showed a prominent Clinton backer sending advice to the campaign that inferred “Bernie Bros” have a “very white male centric view of the world.”
