Republican nominee Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania Tuesday in a stunning pickup that clinched the election for him.

Both Trump and Clinton campaigned aggressively in the state, particularly in their final weeks on the trail, as the state’s 20 electoral votes are a huge pickup that could swing the entire election.

Clinton led Trump handily in the polls for much of the race, leading by as many as 10 points in early October in the Real Clear Politics polling average. But the gap narrowed quickly in the last few weeks of the race, giving the Clinton camp a scare as Trump inched within the margin of error in several polls.

Pennsylvania is one of the states hit hardest by news of the massive spike in Obamacare premiums expected in 2017. News of the double digit increase in premiums broke in late October, and Pennsylvania was near the top of the list with a 53 percent increase.
