The election may be over, but there’s no shortage of drama to dominate the news.

Unless you had “Fox & Friends” turned on Tuesday morning, which featured a segment on something decidedly more upbeat: a mother’s love for her child.

Ainsley Earhardt, a co-host on “Fox & Friends,” debuted her new children’s book, “Take Heart My Child,” which is dedicated to her 1-year-old daughter.

“The book is dedicated to our beautiful daughter Hayden,” Ainsley said. “Mom had to be at work at 7:30 every morning, so dad was in charge of us three kids around the breakfast table … He always had a scripture or saying or some sort of note next to our cereal with an inspirational quote.”

Those same notes, saved for years, would later be used to create the picture book for Hayden that’s already the #2 bestseller on Amazon. “I brought a whole folder full of all the notes dad had given me, and we wrote this book,” Ainsley said. “We’re just really blessed,” Ainsley’s father Wayne said. “No question about it. Great children, great grandchild. We’ve just been blessed. That’s all there is to it.”
