Rep. Kristi Noem of South Dakota won her re-election bid, but the five-year Congresswoman has plans for the state governorship in 2018, according to a Tuesday report of the Argus Leader.

Noem released a video Monday, saying she looks forward to representing her district over the course of the next two years, calling out tax reform, advocating the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, as well as pushing for the passage of a massive Farm Bill.

“We just got through one campaign season, and we all need a break from politics,” Noem said in the official video. “So while my campaign won’t kick off officially until next year, I want you to know that I am all in.”

The state of South Dakota recently voted on a ballot measure that would severely limit the campaign funds a campaign would be allowed to receive to only $4,000 annually from any person or committee.

Under current state law, Noem is allowed to transfer the remaining $1.9 million in her Congressional campaign account to a future gubernatorial campaign account. Once that measure becomes law, she would not legally have access to those funds.

Noem comfortably won re-election, earning roughly two-thirds of the overall vote in her district.
