This speaker is Fantastic! I am truly blown away by the incredible sound this thing puts out. I originally bought a different Oontz speaker for my son for Xmas, and I of course had to make sure it worked and used it for a couple weeks at work. (BTW kudos to the people who designed the packaging, I could unpack and repack the speaker every night and it never looked like I touched it) I was at the point where I was going to keep it for myself very honestly but was reminded by my wife who I bought it for. So I did give it to him for Xmas, but I honestly listened to it while wrapping all the other presents so it would be last. (I know, sad)
Then I saw that they came out with this model and that it would pair with another. I spent all my allowance for a couple months (you married men will understand that) and bought myself this speaker and I am nothing short of thrilled. The sound is rich, and clean, the bass is is perfect. and through what ever device you are using you can change the sound of course.
It has “springy” feet on the bottom that I first wondered about, but after playing it I understood. If t didn’t have them it would literally move wile playing my music.I love that it has that much power and *NO* distortion. Look I’m 47, and I grew up with the Boom Boxes, where the bigger was always better. This speaker is tiny in comparison and easily 100 times better sound.
I don’t know all the technical stuff about sound, I just know what sounds good. And this sounds great. There are other nice features like being able to pair it to another. I am saving up for another to try that, but it is still fantastic alone. You can use it to charge another device from the speaker if you need to, and the battery lasts a long time. I work 10-12 hours a day and it will last most if not all of that time depending on how high I am pumping up the volume.
If you are looking for a great blue tooth speaker, one that you are paying for quality, not a brand name, this is the way to go. There was some serious thought put into this device and it shows. I assure you, this is not a purchase you will regret.
If “this is not a purchase you will regret” when it costs $250…then what is there to say about it when it only costs $75? Good thing you didn’t wait until Black Friday to look for deals.
