The sooner we dump that scumbag in a potter’s field, the better. If he wants to speed up the process, that’s great news.
A federal judge ruled on Monday that Dylann S. Roof, who was charged in the massacre of nine black worshipers at a Charleston, S.C., church in 2015, can represent himself in his federal death-penalty trial.
The judge, Richard M. Gergel of Federal District Court in Charleston, called the request by Mr. Roof, 22, “strategically unwise,” but allowed him to have a lawyer present as backup.
It’s only strategically unwise if Roof wants to keep on breathing. Apparently that’s not the case. I have no doubt he can convince any jury that he should be put to death as soon as possible.
“Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” was a lie. #BlackLivesMatter is based on a fraudulent premise. But when this guy gets the needle, I’ll be celebrating right along with them.
