Cubans In Miami Are Wiping Their Butts With Castro’s Face

In the wake of Castro’s death, a small shop near Little Havana in Miami is now selling a “Viva Cuba Libre” kit for 24.99 that includes some rolls of “Fidel Castro” toilet paper, according to the Miami Herald.

The kit also contains a small bottle of non-alcoholic apple cider, with the label, “Open only when Castro dies.” The kit includes a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase, “when the dog dies, the rabies go away” in Spanish.

Although they are not a part of the kit, the shop also reported selling out of bottles of hot sauce labeled “Burn in Hell, Fidel.”  Shop owner Maria Vasquez told the Miami Herald that she sold 120 kits in the shop on the day the news of Castro’s death broke, and she has plenty of back-ordered units from online orders as well.

“It’s a way of finding closure for people,” Vazquez told reporters “They are feeling proud of their roots. Even Venezuelans and Colombians wanted to have a Cuban flag.”

Castro died Nov. 25, 2016, prompting Cubans exiles in Florida to rejoice. Others, including brother Raul Castro, were saddened by the loss of the former dictator.

“I say to the people of Cuba, with profound pain I come here to inform our people, our friends of America and the world, that today, 25 November, 2016, at 10:29 pm, died the chief commander of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz,” Castro wrote in the official statement.
