Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told USA Today Tuesday that Donald Trump might have underestimated how difficult fulfilling the duties of president will be.

Gingrich claims that during his meeting with the President-elect last week at Trump tower, he saw a much more somber, realistic Trump.
“He commented, ‘this is really a bigger job that I thought,'” Gingrich recalled Tuesday. “Which is good. He should think that.”
“You have war and peace, you have enormous powers,” he continued. “And it all comes down to the Oval Office, and it all comes down to you.”
Trump’s transition team has made great strides toward filling out his cabinet in recent days.
On Tuesday, the Trump team formally announced the selections of Elaine Chao and Tom Price to head the Departments of Health and Human Services and Transportation, respectively.
