‘Silicon Valley’ Star Arrested After Assaulting Cab Driver Who Supports Trump

Comedian and actor T.J. Miller was arrested early Friday morning in Los Angeles after allegedly getting in a physical altercation with a cab driver who supports President-elected Donald Trump.

Star of HBO’s hit show “Silicon Valley,” Miller has become a popular figure in Hollywood. But he’s now in hot water after allegedly assaulting a driver because he spoke out in favor of Trump. LAPD officer Jenny Houser said the incident was officially recorded as a citizen’s arrest, meaning a civilian took the law enforcement matters into their own hands, according to The Hollywood Reporter. (RELATED: Silicon Valley Loses Its Mind After Trump Wins)

The celebrity was released later that morning without being forced to post bail.

Miller’s net worth is believed to be around $4 million. The median salary for taxi cab drivers in 2014 was $23,210, according to U.S. News & World Report.
