Kellyanne Conway said president-elect Donald Trump would “benefit tremendously by having” both Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner in the administration.

Speaking to reporters Thursday from Trump Tower, Trump’s senior advisor did not directly answer questions about whether or not Trump’s oldest daughter will be moving to Washington D.C., and occupying a space in the White House that is typically reserved for the first lady.  (RELATED: Report: Ivanka Trump To Occupy Space In WH Reserved For First Lady)

“So Ivanka and Jared will make their own announcement and decision in due course,” Conway responded. “I think that we would benefit tremendously by having them inside the administration if in fact that can happen. Ivanka is incredibly committed to women in the workplace, women in the economy, women entrepreneurs. ” (RELATED: The One Photo From Ivanka Trump’s Meeting With Al Gore Today)

“She has had a wonderful platform during the campaign,” she added. “Certainly she and her father announced our childcare plan. I think it was a big highlight of our campaign, our outreach to women particularly.”

Wednesday CNN reported that Trump will be taking over the office space in the White House that is usually used by the first lady. However, Trump’s spokesperson, Hope Hicks, called the reports “false.”

“Per Hope Hicks: ‘This is false,'” Washington Examiner’s Gabby Morrongiello tweeted. “No decisions regarding Ivanka’s involvement have been made.”

In addition, CNN correspondent Cristina Alesci reported last week, “Ivanka may leave the Trump organization to take some kind of role in the administration. Unclear what that is right now.”

It has also been reported that she and her husband have been house hunting in Washington D.C., but there has been no official report from the Trump team.

After the election, Melania Trump said she would not be moving to the White House in January and instead would stay in New York City until her son Barron finished his school year.
