The broadcast industry lost a legend on Thursday as Craig Sager, 65, passed away following his battle with leukemia. On Sunday, some players are remembering him in a creative way.
Two NFL receivers are honoring the 2016 Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame inductee and Jimmy V Perseverance award winner by wearing custom-made cleats.
On Friday, Golden Tate of the Detroit Lions, posted a picture of the cleats on Instagram.
New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is also sporting custom cleats Sunday. Kickasso Kustoms, who designed the artwork, Tweeted that the cleats will be auctioned off to benefit the Sager Strong Foundation for cancer research.
