Wait. Furbys Are Still A Thing?

In 1998, Furbys were the must-have gift. I remember that. I also remember getting a Furby or two as the toy in my McDonalds Happy Meals. But I had no idea that, nearly 20 years later, Furbys are still a thing. I thought “Hatchimals” were, for all intents and purposes, the new Furby. But I was wrong.

It is 2016, and Furbys are back in full force. In fact, they recently announced plans for a Furby movie. And there is a new line of Furbys – called Furby Connect – that syncs with a mobile app to create a more interactive experience. And I have good news. If for any reason you possibly want a Furby (I’m assuming for your child, but who am I to judge?), they are 60 percent off today. Yes, the new Furby actually costs $100. But thankfully it is only a much more reasonable $40 if you buy today.

I really have no idea why you would buy a Furby in 2016. Nostalgia, maybe? Perhaps you were too late on the Hatchimals and this is the next best thing? Whatever. Either way, saving 60 bucks is still a nice little deal.
