The former “Apprentice” contestant — who landed a public engagement position in Donald Trump’s White House Wednesday — said she believes there is a “huge movement” during an interview with Fox News this week.

“Traditionally, African-Americans have been Democrat, and I think the Democrats have taken advantage and taken for granted the African-American vote,” Omarosa said.

“You are seeing a huge movement of African-Americans moving to the Republican Party.” (RELATED: Omarosa Lands A Job In Donald Trump’s White House)

Omarosa, who previously worked in Al Gore’s office while Bill Clinton was president, will serve as an assistant to the president and the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison for the president-elect.

Trump secured eight percent of the black vote in the 2016 presidential election.
