Barack Obama cracked a joke about being a lame duck president within minutes of starting his farewell speech.
As the president took the stage at the McCormick Place in Chicago Tuesday night, he acknowledged that he only has a few days left in office.
“You can tell that I’m a lame duck because no one’s following instructions,” Obama said.
