Sen. Jeff Sessions’ granddaughter captured hearts at his Tuesday attorney general confirmation hearing.
While opening statements were read, Sessions played with his granddaughter, who occasionally interrupted proceedings with adorable toddler babbling.
As he stood up to read his opening remarks, he planted a kiss on his granddaughter’s cheek.
