Orlando police captured a suspected cop killer Tuesday night after searching for him for a week.

The Orlando Police Deportment announced it arrested Markeith Loyd over Twitter, reports ABC 13.

“We’ve got him! Markeith Loyd in OPD ICustody. Details to come. Media: stand by for details on press conference,” the department tweeted.

Loyd is suspected of killing Master Sgt. Debra Clayton in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Officers used Clayton’s handcuffs to arrest Loyd.

Officials found Loyd in an empty home, but Loyd tried to escape out the back, the police chief said at a news conference. He re-entered the house and came out the front dressed in body armor holding guns.

He tossed the guns to the ground, but tried to resist officers. Loyd suffered some minor injuries from his resistance, the police chief said.

Orlando police underwent a massive manhunt to find Loyd last week. They offered a $100,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest. (RELATED: Police Offer $60,000 Reward For Help In Capturing Murder Suspect)

Two officers died while trying to bring in Loyd. Clayton, a 17-year veteran of the force, was allegedly shot by Loyd when she made contact with him in a parking lot. Loyd was wanted for allegedly killing his pregnant girlfriend in December.

Another officer died during the manhunt in a motorcycle crash.
