A Breitbart reporter with a history of knocking House Speaker Paul Ryan is set to join the Trump White House, according to reports published Sunday.

Politico first reported that Julia Hahn will join the Trump administration as a special assistant to the president. Hahn will likely working under former Breitbart executive and White House chief strategist Steve Bannon. Axios later confirmed the report and added that Hahn will likely work on policy issues such as trade and immigration, in addition to speechwriting.

Hahn wrote extensively about immigration while at Breitbart and authored several articles attacking Ryan.

In the weeks before the election, Hahn wrote, “He’s With Her: Inside Paul Ryan’s Months-Long Campaign to Elect Hillary Clinton President.” In the article she described Ryan as having a “progressive, globalist worldview.”

Hahn has also frequently described Speaker Ryan as leading the “pro-Islamic migration wing of the Republican party.”

In the lead-up to Ryan’s 2016 primary election, Hahn wrote favorable articles for his primary challenger Paul Nehlen and negative ones about Ryan.

President Donald Trump is set to meet with Speaker Ryan on Monday.
