Hillary Clinton is figuring out her next move.
The former presidential candidate is charting her future after a stunning election loss last November left her devastated. According to a report published by Politico Monday, that could include writing or pushing specific policy initiatives by this spring.
Clinton has reportedly “spoken with leaders of emerging Democratic-leaning organizations about their work, and has discussed possible opportunities to work with Organizing For Action, former President Barack Obama’s initiative.”
She has also spent time examining her loss with former aides. That includes bad data, polling errors and voter bases that she couldn’t appeal to.
“She understands that a forensic exam of the campaign is necessary, not only for her, but for the party and other electeds, and for the investors in the campaign,” a source told Politico.
“People want to know that their investment was treated with respect, but that their mistakes wouldn’t be repeated.” (RELATED: Hillary Clinton Says The Women’s March On Washington Brought Her Joy)
Clinton has made few public appearances since losing to Donald Trump, but she did attend his inauguration on Friday.
