PHILADELPHIA—House and Senate Republicans plan to map out and present their 200-day policy plan Wednesday at their annual three-day retreat in the City of Brotherly Love before President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and British Prime Minister Theresa May join them during various receptions. Trump is expected to deliver remarks to the members.

The retreat kicks off with a working lunch for members of both chambers and later House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will discuss the party’s 200 day capitol hill policy plan.

House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady, Senate Finance Chairman Orrin Hatch, Senate Republican Conference Chairman John Thune, Illinois Rep. Peter Roskam, and Ohio Sen. Rob Portman will discuss upcoming tax reform policy.

President Trump put forth a tax policy plan during his campaign that would lower the business tax rate from 35 percent to 15 percent. Additionally, the tax brackets of the individual income tax would be reduced from 7 to 3, so the tax rates would be 12 percent, 25 percent or 33 percent.

The military, international affairs, and health care are among the issues the on docket for Thursday. Chairs from the committees of jurisdiction will discuss healthcare policy as well as national security.
