A mother accused President Donald Trump of using her daughter’s death for political reasons Tuesday.

Rosie Ayliffe wrote a letter to Trump over his inclusion of her daughter’s death on a list of terrorist attacks allegedly under-reported by the media, reports The Huffington Post.

Mia Ayliffe-Chung, Ayliffe’s daughter, and Thomas Jackson  were both victims of a stabbing in a hostel in Queensland, Australia. Frenchman Smail Ayad attacked Ayliffe-Chung in the hostel. Jackson stepped in to try to save her, but was murdered in the process.

“This vilification of whole nation states and their people based on religion is a terrifying reminder of the horror that can ensue when we allow ourselves to be led by ignorant people into darkness and hatred,” Ayliffe stated in her Facebook post. “My daughter’s death will not be used to further this insane persecution of innocent people.”

Ayliffe also pointed out that the police ruled out terrorism early on in the investigation into her daughter’s murder.

“The possibility of Mia and Tom’s deaths being consequent to an Islamic terror attack was discounted in the early stages of the police investigation through international collaboration on the parts of Queensland police department and the French ant-terrorist force,” she wrote.

The White House produced a list of 78 terrorist attacks that they accused the media of not reporting well Monday. Among those attacks were the Pulse Nightclub shooting, the San Bernardino and Nice attacks.

“It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even being reported. And in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it,” Trump said at the U.S. Central Command.
