President Trump welcomed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to the White House on Monday. The two leaders, who have never met before, have a full day planned and are expected to talk trade and jobs.
As soon as he arrived, Trump greeted Trudeau before taking him into the Oval Office for a photo op with the press.
The two men are scheduled to attend a roundtable discussion — reportedly planned by Ivanka Trump — about women in the workforce before having lunch together in the State Dining Room.
The United States and Canada are expected to launch a task force called the United States Canada Council for the Advancement of Women Business Leaders-Female Entrepreneurs.
Trump and Trudeau will then hold a press conference from the White House at 2:00 p.m.
