A bull got loose in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, Monday morning, and it took the New York Police Department more than two hours to capture it.

The animal, either a bull (the animal has horns) or a steer, escaped a slaughterhouse around 10 a.m., ABC News reports. ABC tracked the chase with a news helicopter and streamed the video live online. At one point, more than 18,000 people tuned into the stream, and the video has more than half a million views.

The police chased the bovine through several neighborhoods, but each time they cornered the animal, he managed to dodge the vehicles and run down the street.

They shot the bull with tranquilizer darts, but the animal still ran for quite a while before the drugs took effect. Police were finally able corner and capture the animal around 12:20 p.m.

This is at least the third cow that has gotten loose and run through New York in the past 14 months. In January and April of 2016, police had to chase cow that likely got loose from a nearby slaughterhouse.
